I only had a moment to scan the pictures and articles, but will read through the blog more thoroughly later. It makes me yearn for Rome. I’m ready to pack my bags and plan another trip. And, it refreshes my memories of our time spent with you walking throught the streets of your wonderful city. We plan to visit the vatican. I think it would be helpful to have a guide. You also say one can book his time with the vatican. Would you give the details on a walking tour through the vatican. Angela Buriani in Florence recommended that we contact you to help us enjoy Rome. We will be there for three days – April 13,14 &15 and especially would like to spend some quality time at the Vatican: the Rafael Rooms, Sistine Chapel, St Peters Treasury. Also would it be possible to visit The Royal Room (where the Pope receives international visitors), the Niccolian Chapel, and the Papal Treasury? Please quote us for such a tour on the 13th or 14th.
Perhaps you can suggest an interesting tour on one of the other days – taking into account that we do not want to revist the most touristy places, which we have experienced on previous trips.

My husband and I are returning to Roma this year at the end of May, and bringing our two boys, Dominic and Rocco, to my favorite city in the world! It is where I feel most “at home”. We would like to schedule a private tour with you of Ancient Rome (Colosseo/Foro/Palatine), including the hypogeum and the upper tier. Just found out that it has been re-opened and we are so excited! Can you customize a tour for us that will keep our young boys interested and engaged? Maybe only 3 hours, maximum because they will get tired. The boys are also very excited about their trip to Italy and have lots of questions, but since they are only 10 years old (twins), they will probably not care about all of the same things that adults care about. You have come highly recommended and I really hope that you will be able to accomodate us. We are hoping for a tour on Tues, May 29, first thing in the morning. Our family of 4 (kids ages 10 & 13) just had the pleasure of 2 half-day tours with Alessandra (Vatican City and Colosseum/Roman Forum/Palatine Hill) during Holy week. She was simply wonderful, even before our arrival, with helping us plan our schedules and making restaurant recommendations and reservations. We are interested in the Colosseum and Vatican tours. I understand they are each half day tours. We would like to take the tours on August 6th and 7th and we are a party of two adults and our three children ages 12, 17, and 19.

You have been recommended by two different sets of friends for our tours of Rome. We are a family of 5 with children 4, 8 and 10. We are in Rome from October 21 until the 24th. We would like to do at least two half day tours – classic rome and the vatican. Maybe a third day of Baroque Rome. Are you available on these dates? We have booked flights and are hopefully finalizing an apartment where we will be staying early this week. Please advise on your availability.

Happy New Year Alessandra. Leslee and I want to thank you again for your two amazing tours of Rome with us on December 11 to the Colosseum/Forum and on December 13 to the Vatican and St. Peter’s.
